Getting Re(Lit) for Educators
Stepping Back into the Classroom Better than Ever
Join Dr. Jody Carrington for a motivational seminar specifically geared towards educators, teachers, educational assistants, librarians and support staff. Snacks and lunch to be provided; this is an adult-only event.
“This day is just for educators. Those of you who do this holy work inspired me so much that I wrote a book: “Kids These Days”. This is our second annual “Getting (Re)Lit” event, and I hope we can host this event annually to honour the work that you do, and to remind you just how powerful you are in the world.
It’s a day designed to inspire , renew your soul, and kick you in the ass, all rolled up with a lot of laughter and maybe a few tears. I’ll bring my best stuff – from all I have learned from educators across this continent about what it takes to be the best you’ve ever been. We will talk about relationships, trauma, compassion, fatigue, and mostly that we are wired for it all. I want to leave this day not just motivated, but transformed.”
