International hockey’s favourite holiday tradition returns to Alberta. Hockey Canada and the IIHF have officially released the full tournament schedule for the 2027 IIHF World Junior Championship, bringing world-class junior hockey back to local ice.
Ten national teams will compete across 29 games over 11 days, launching on Boxing Day and concluding with the gold medal game on January 5, 2027.
Individual game tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. MT. Due to high demand during the initial ticket draw, fans are encouraged to secure remaining seats early.
